Because many companies don't want their employees traveling too far for educational training, Kay & Associates has set up regionalized brazing seminars around the country for your convenience. Thousands of people from around the world (from Hartford to Singapore) have attended one of the many intensive 3-day Kay & Associates Brazing Seminars held during the last 15-years at a location that is most convenient for their company. The first Spring-2013 seminar will be held at the Sportsmen's Lodge Events Center in Studio City, California (near to Universal Studios, just north of Los Angeles, and about a half-hour drive north of LAX). The second, identical Spring seminar, will be held near Hartford, Connecticut at The Simsbury Inn (1-860-651-5700) in the lovely town of Simsbury, less than 30-minutes drive from Hartford/Springfield (Bradley) International Airport (airport code: BDL). In October we head south to the Embassy Suites & Conference Center (1-864-676-9090) in Greenville, South Carolina, just a few minutes drive from Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport (airport code: GSP). And then, in November, we return once again to The Simsbury Inn in Connecticut. So, you have several options for a date and location that is best for you!

Who should attend this seminar? Anyone who, by their decisions or actions, has an impact on the brazing operations in their plant: owners, managers, design engineers (brazing begins on the "drawing board"), metallurgists, process engineers, shop leadpersons, operators, quality control and inspection personnel, maintenance personnel, sales persons. When you understand the brazing process, you'll be able to help your customers better.

Attendees will learn answers to: What are the most common mistakes made in brazing shops today that lead to poor brazements and rejected parts, and how to avoid those mistakes. How to meaningfully cut significant costs out of your current brazing process, and get a better braze with improved customer satisfaction. How to gain confidence that your brazing process is optimized for your customers needs, by knowing which things should and should not be included in your process. What specific things must be included in any inspection process after brazing, and which procedures might strictly be wasteful of your time and money. Which brazing process is best for certain base metals, and why? For example: should you use vacuum or induction-brazing? Which is best for different base metals? These topics listed above are just a few of the many topics that will be covered in this intensive 3-day seminar. Bring your questions, sample parts, drawings to the seminar! REGISTRATION

COST --- $1795 per person when one person registers for seminar. NOTE: This seminar price includes a copy of the AWS Brazing Handbook (5th Edition). When two (2) or three (3) persons (attending from the SAME company location) register together at the SAME time -- on the SAME registration form -- the seminar fee is reduced to only $1750/person. When four (4) or more people from the SAME plant location register -- at the SAME time on the SAME registration form -- the seminar fee will be reduced to only $1725/person. IMPORTANT NOTE: Any registration form that is submitted for only one (1) person WILL be charged the full $1795 price!
